Laura was born and raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. While attending The University of Texas at Arlington, she worked various positions in the retail market, where she enjoyed working with and interacting with others; the facet of her position now at Lone Star Retirement Services that she enjoys most.
In 2006 she started her career in financial services as a 401(k) Representative for Fidelity Investments. Here, she learned the ins and outs of retirement plans, and had the opportunity to help plan participants.
While dating her future husband Karl, Laura decided to move down to San Antonio after Karl received orders from the Army to re-locate. This move ultimately led her to Lone Star Retirement Services and The 401(k) Concierge where she is able to continue to learn about and assist with 401(k) plans.
Laura enjoys traveling up to the Dallas area to visit family and continue to support her sports teams. She is an avid baseball fan and like taking family trips out to the ballpark, GO RANGERS! A lifelong lover of animals, Laura and Karl own three dogs; Zues, Penny and Lilly. Laura is active in supporting the San Antonio Great Dane Rescue, a cause she holds dear to her heart. Laura and Karl just moved into their new home in Selma and are busy decorating and getting settled in.
