Education & Work History

After graduating from Texas Tech University with an Engineering degree, Ryan worked in various capacities in the construction industry for 5 years, including work as an engineering estimator at a steel firm, and owning his own construction company.  Ryan really appreciated the financial aspect of the construction world, and his eagerness to excel heightened his interests in the financial world.  This interest is what brought him to Lone Star Retirement Services. 

Intrigued by his duties and day to day responsibilities, Ryan is passionate about his role here at Lone Star Retirement Services. 

Family & Interests

Ryan his wife Jill and their dog Duke, live on their cattle ranch, the Bar W, in Red Rock, which was started by Ryan’s great grandfather in the 1920s.  Ryan enjoys working and training cutting horses, and competes at various ranch horse and cutting events throughout the state.

When he isn’t working at LSRS or on the ranch, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends.  He loves movies, Texas history and being outside as much as possible and traveling.  He has visited various cities in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Europe and Africa.    

Jill and Ryan enjoy riding their four wheelers around the ranch and taking out their 1977 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40.
